About Southwest Veterinary Coaching

At Southwest Veterinary Coaching, we specialize in providing training to Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) and other veterinary support staff who are looking to improve their skills in emergency medicine. We understand the stressful nature of these situations; which is why we are committed to helping our clients feel more comfortable and confident in their abilities. Our mission is to help general practices manage and stabilize emergencies more effectively and ultimately, improve the care and outcomes for all animals.

About Me

Hi, I’m Jodi! I graduated in 2009 from Ridgetown College as an Registered Veterinary Technician. I hit the ground running working in mixed animal practice. I have always been curious about emergency medicine, which in turn inspired me to complete the Paramedic Program in 2016. I have worked at multiple referral centres alongside locuming in several general practices. Having a variety of experiences working within in the ER, I have been able to recognize the struggles of the staff and pet owners. I am thrilled to integrate my hands-on experience with my passion for teaching, and plan to continue to advance technicians with ER knowledge and skills.

About me

Coach Caity

I started my journey in the Veterinary industry at the young age of 14 as a Veterinary assistant. I graduated from the Ridgetown College in 2017. My love for Emergency medicine was ignited after an externship within an Emergency practice. After a few years in general practice I took the leap and started my journey of becoming an Emergency RVT. My hope is to empower RVTS to use their skill , learn new skills and grow their resume as a valued member of the RVT community.
